Age Requirements and Grade Levels
Students entering the SKPS Preschool program must be 3 or 4 years of age, respectfully, by September 1st. A student entering kindergarten must be five years of age by September 1st. Official certificates of birth and baptism are required at the time of registration. Those registering for grades 1-6 must fulfill the age requirement for the desired grade and present letters of recommendation from the previous school. Grade level and academic group determinations are made on the basis of school records.
Registration Phases
Registration for Saint Kilian Parish School is offered to families on a priority basis as follows:
- Phase 1 - Saint Kilian Parish families presently enrolled at Saint Kilian Parish School
- Phase 2 - Other families presently enrolled at Saint Kilian Parish School
- Phase 3 - Saint Kilian Parish families not currently enrolled at Saint Kilian Parish School
- Phase 4 - Families of other Catholic parishes without a school
- Phase 5 - General community
**It is important to note that as there will be significantly high preschool enrollment than kindergarten availability, participation in the preschool program at Saint Kilian Parish School will not guarantee admission to kindergarten.

- Copy of Catholic Church Baptismal Certificate, if applicable
- Copy of immunization record

Tuition Assistance through the Diocese of Pittsburgh is available; however, the forms are forthcoming as we have not received them yet. Please contact Ms. Jankowski if you are in need of one.
