Saint Kilian Parish School Cheerleading - show your Celtic pride!

The Celtic cheerleading program is part of the total student learning experience. It fosters teamwork, fitness, and school pride. Cheerleading involves learning many different motions, cheers, chants, and routines during the course of the school year.

We anticipate having a few squads of cheerleaders at our school based on interest and coaching availability. Our developmental squad consists of 3rd and 4th grade girls;  our Junior Varsity squad consists of 5th and 6th grade girls, while our Varsity squad is made up of our 7th and 8th grade girls.  Depending on the interest level, there is an opportunity to host a competitive squad along with a developmental squad at our school (details will be discussed after school begins and registration opens for this sport).

Please speak to your children about cheerleading and register as early as possible so we can get better prepared for the season. Patience is critical and we ask for your help in this area as ordering cheerleading outfits is probably the hardest uniform to order due to sizing issues. We will have an "early" sizing for all interested girls so we can get the uniforms ordered prior to the first date of use at our school so work with your coaches on this as soon as possible.

Volunteers are needed for the teams so please contact the school if you are interested in coaching and helping the team cheer on with Celtic Pride!

Please feel free to contact our program coordinator, Mrs. Jill Flaherty, with any questions regarding our program.
