COOKING
This program gives students a hands-on experience in the kitchen. We will introduce basic knowledge of kitchen materials and tools as well as some new vocabulary. We'll learn how to follow the directions of a recipe and even a little about measurements. As a bonus, students will get to sample their culinary endeavors and take some home to share, along with a copy of the recipe.
- Grades: 1 - 4
- Dates and Times: Tuesdays, February 7, February 21 and March 6
PLEASE NOTE: these classes are offered as individual sessions. You will need to indicate on the registration form the exact session(s) in which your child would like to participate.
- Supplies and Materials: Students should bring a small tupperware container to take home their goodies.

ROOM ON THE BROOM
Is there enough room on the broom? Join us for this 3-session program, where we will be embarking on an "author study": enjoying 3 different books by the author Julia Donaldson. Each date, we will read and enjoy one of the following Room on the Broom, The Gruffalo, and The Snail and the Whale. We will read the story, do a craft, have a snack, maybe even watch the movie The Gruffalo on the last day!

PHOTO HUNT
It’s an electronic scavenger hunt! Can you decipher the clues and “click-a-pic” of your items before time runs out? Pick a partner and see how your sleuthing skills stack up! You never know what is hiding inside SKPS…
- Grades: 2-5
- Dates and Times: Wednesday, March 14
- Supplies and Materials: students will need to provide a digital photographing device from home: ipod, digital point-and-shoot camera, DS, etc.. Please, no cell phones!

TAE KWON DO
It’s back! This time we welcome the instructors from Young Brothers, for this introduction to Tae Kwon Do. Everyone in grades K-4 is welcome, both those with TKD experience and those who have never tried. This is a great chance to learn more about this martial art or refine your current skills.
- Grades: K-4
- Dates and Times: Wednesdays, February 29 - March 21
- Supplies and Materials: play/exercise clothes, water bottle

EDISON'S EXPLORERS
Wonder*Experiment*Explore!
Each of these four one-hour sessions will give your budding Einstein the chance to learn and experience a different branch of science. Our Explorers will discover what it is like to work as a scientist for a day and even complete their own experiments! Maybe rocket-science, maybe animal-science, maybe chemistry; DEFINITELY fun!
- Grades: 1-4
- Dates and Times: Thursdays, February 2, February 23, March 8 and March 23. PLEASE NOTE: these classes are offered as individual sessions. You will need to indicate on the registration form the exact session(s) in which your child would like to participate.
- Supplies and Materials: none (although lab coats and goggles would be fun!)

BE MY VALENTINE
Join us for a fun afternoon of crafts and creativity as we create a little something to bring a smile to your Valentine!
