Due to the number of cars and buses that need to drop-off and pick-up students, it is important that all parents and caregivers adhere to the following process so that drop-off and dismissals run smoothly and safely.

Please select from the following 2010/2011 drop off and pick up procedures:

 

K-8 Drop Off and Pick Up Procedure

Drop Off - Between 8:00am and 8:30am

  • Kindergarten
    Kindergarten children will be dropped off at the cafeteria entrance as in the past. They will be greeted by a teacher assistant at the door who will help them scan their badge to log into the school. Kindergarten students will gather in the cafeteria, under the Kindergarten welcome sign, then be directed to their classroom by their teachers on the first day of school and each day following.

  • Grades 1 - 6
    Please drop your 1 - 6 students at the cafeteria entrance. They will be greeted by a teacher assistant at the door who will help them scan their badge to log into the school.

  • Late Arrivals will need to be accompanied inside to the front desk and sign in after 8:30. Children will be marked tardy if signed in after 8:35am Headmaster time.

Pick Up - 3:15pm
For students not taking a bus home, parents will need to follow this procedure:

  1. Park your car and enter the school via the main building entrance.
  2. Sign your child out at the receptionist desk.
  3. Wait in a conference room until the buses have left the school.
  4. Student(s) will then be allowed to leave with their parent/caregiver.

Preschool Drop Off and Pick Up Procedure

Morning Session Students

  • Drop Off: 8:45 am          
  • Pick Up: 11:15 am

Afternoon Session Students

  • Drop Off: 12:15 pm
  • Pick Up: 2:45 pm

Procedure

  1. Enter school property via Franklin Road. Proceed down hill to parking lot behind school.
  2. Line up in parking lot and stop at designated spot at the end of the lot. 
  3. Wait until the teacher’s aide signals you to pull forward to pick up your child. This will allow the car in front of you to turn around and proceed out of the lot.  
  4. Please do NOT block the intersection leading into the lot.
  5. For safety purposes, please do not line up in lot more than 15 minutes before drop off or pick up times listed above.
